Bainbridge Island’s Pia The Peacekeeper is doing well through her first Pacific Northwest winter. She’s beginning to develop a fine patina of living organisms, which is inevitable in our wet climate. She’s looking great!

At the end of each year, I like to post 10 of my favorite images on Instagram. There are always way too many, but it’s a fun exercise. During the year I travelled and adventured with Kate, got reconnected with old friends, discovered amazing things just outside my front door and visited places that have been on my list for many years.
