Since the last time I visited the memorial, there are new pieces of art in place. Very powerful and thought provoking and definitely in keeping with the feel of the grounds and the message.

While on our bike tour recently, we met our friends Gina Gotcha and Lisa Steudel on the shores of Victoria, BC. They were a week into this year’s continuation of their Vancouver Island circumnavigation, which they started a couple years ago. They looked strong and were all smiles on a sunny day.
